Can my creditors later collect debts listed in my bankruptcy?

No. Upon obtaining a discharge, the Court grants a permanent injunction against any collection activity with regard to the debts that have been discharged. This means that no one may contact you about paying any of the debts discharged, nor can they sue you or take any other legal steps to collect the debts. If they still try to collect any discharged debts, we can file claims to potentially obtain damages for you for their violation of the law.
